Dear doktor500,
Thanks for answering, sturmvogel found the corret bug for this problem.

Apart from that, the folder names definitely contain special characters which might be an issue:
./Új album
And for some month names, those also contain special characters - that might be far fetched, but also possible cause for some older bug.
And I would like to inform you, the error came with simple 8+3 files like 100_1234.jpg if the number of the files is more than some hundred. Do not need special folders, files, hidden files, bad user rights on files.
I would like to inform you, my Linux works with:
- Code: Select all
locale
LANG=hu_HU.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="hu_HU.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=
and with Hungarian locale the Új mappa is not a special thing as German local has ß in e.g. strasse... but without this specialities only with english chars+numbers the problem also presents.
I'm happy that I can inform you, that CR2 is a Canon RAW file of the photo was taken with Canon Digital Cameras. I'm happy that e.g. UFRaw and DigiKam can handle these files and can extract them to e.g. a jpg.
here is an example in smaller size:
