Chromecast Isue

Does Mageia screen or media sharing via chromium or other browser work on any version of system ?
Why has no one hushed up this issue so far - maybe it means that only my search engine does not find devices with Chromecast in the same network ?
Please provide information or indicate possible sources of the problem
If Mageia does not support chromecast, please let me know if it would be possible to compile "mkchromecast" packages available in other distributions for the system

The provided informations are so scarce. You are not even telling which application you are using, what actions you do, what the error is....did you check your network and firewall settings accordingly?

If you use VLC you need to install vlc-plugin-gnutls to find chromecast devices.

I have been casting from Chrome on Mageia to my Chromecast and to my google home device for several years with no problems. I've not tried with any other browser.
