Running Internet Explorer 11 on Mageia

Maybe the question will surprise some, but I need to use Internet Explorer in Mageia.
The problem is that I have several Foscam security cameras which need a plugin for WEB browser provided by Foscam (for configuration and from time to time to verify the configuration).
This plugin does not work with Chrome, Edge or Firefox.
Foscam "forgot" about the older cameras and nothing new will be delivered.
The only platform it is compatible with is IE, for example with WIN10.
The question is how to run IE in Mageia. I tried with Bottles but it was unable to install IE on it.
Maybe someone has an idea?

Maybe you will find some hints here:
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Ways_to_install_programs

You could also run a Windows inside a Virtualbox:
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/VirtualBox

Or you try their new software which doesn't require a browser plugin. But it' s Windows only... So see first link.

Also it's really unspecific if you write that you used "bottles". It's a generic term that can be used by Wine, Crossover, Playonlinux,....
Also error outputs could maybe help...

IE11 won't work with wine (testet myself). IE11 on wine is also rated as Garbage at winehq.

Your best choice, and perhaps your only choice, is to set up a virtual machine running the desired version of Windows.

If you go with an older Windows, its footprint on your system won't be so large and you still will be able to use your cameras. Just be sure to carefully firewall that old Windows off of the internet; it can access your cameras and nothing else. If you don't firewall it off, it could be a serious security problem.

Yes, at the moment this is what I have done. I was just thinking about something simpler like WINE or similar.
