KDE and newly started program windows z order

Postby wildlynx » May 28th, '19, 11:01

Hi!

Question:

Is it possible to configure KDE so now windows cannot take focus from active window, except for modal popups from some program?

I find it inconvenient, that some slowly loading program might suddenly pop up and and take focus and steal some keyboard input from current program. Especially when current program is kde wallet's password dialog.

Just an addendum:

Your example kwallet should be opened automatically at login with kwallet-pam.

Sorry for not responding for so long!

About kwallet: Kwallet is configured to ask password every time app asks for access and close wallet immediately when not used anymore.

About behaviour: Tried to set focus stealing protection to medium and looks like it did the trick.

Thanks for help!
