[SOLVED] Software update asking to update non-tainted vlc

...I have the tainted version installed - is the short story.

Longer version:

I was having problems with FDesktopRecorder and realised that at some point Mageia had uninstalled my tainted VLC, ffmpeg etc etc with the untainted versions. So, I uninstalled them which uninstalled a shed load of dependencies, eventually got everything working again and now Mageia is trying to installed the pure versions of said programs when I don't have them ticked in software manager.

Does anyone know why this would be and how I can stop it from trying to get me to install the non-tainted versions please?

Could it be that the tainted update source are inactive? Then due to the latest update the non-tainted versions are "newer" than the tainted ones and will try to replace them.

Ah, no, I see it. The updates are not enabled for tainted. Enabling that has sorted it.
