The mirror that you are using (oss.maxcdn.com) is seriously out of date:
http://mirrors.mageia.org/status

Delete all of your sources and select another mirror:
https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Software_man ... dia_source

Then update your system, before trying to install any additional packages.

Please don't forget to mark the topic [SOLVED].
You can do so, by editing the subject/title in the first message in this topic.
Write [SOLVED] to the left of subject/title, thanks ahead. ;)

Imperfect, as a general hint and golden rule: Please only one problem per thread ;)

First things first: Please mark the thread accordingly by editing the topic of the first post and prefix it by [SOLVED], thanks

Then for your next question, and as a general hint and golden rule: Please only one problem per thread. So open up a separate thread for compiz. or use the search function, there are quite some threads about compiz. For newerd desktops like GNOME3 and KDE as novice you shouldn't use compiz, as they have that already integrated.

And when you only ran compiz --replace, then simply restart your X server via Ctrl+Alt+Backspace and your old window manager should be back again.

Also, for a side note; Compiz won't work (incompatible) with GNOME.
