OK,
Since finding out that Opera for Linux is no longer being update, and from my elderly friend that Fiirefox is not acceptable, Getting Chrome to work has a higher priority.

I downloaded the Google Chrome stable release for Fedora, Followed the RPM prompts and got a message saying it had been installed but there was a list of things that didn't install. The implication I got from the message was that they were not needed.

Guess I need to learn how to take and upload screen shots so the magi can see what I am seeing.

I put myself in the shoes of an 78 year old widow. Her 25" analog TV is connected to an external antenna by an HD-Analog converter. Her phone isn't even a "feature" phone. She gets internet through dial-up. So I don't do terminal stuff.
