Rename Multiple Files [Solved]

Rename Multiple Files [Solved]

My Camera names photos IMGP1027.JPG, IMGP1028.JPG etc, what I want to do is batch rename them to for example Holiday-001,JPG , Holiday-002,JPG etc is there an easy way to do this?

it's very easy to do it with krename.
for windows problems reboot; for linux problems be root

You can also do that witl dolphin, select the pictures, rename, enter the name and a number - all files will get the same name and will be numbered ascendingly.
Cauldron is not for the faint of heart!
