[SOLVED] Unable to add book or file to Calibre in Mageia4

Postby davidw » Feb 26th, '14, 18:28

I have been running Mageia3 on a clean install from the DVD on a new machine. I recently upgraded to Mageia4 by using the DVD iso. Not only did Libre Office get removed and it is not shown as availbe to install (bug12766) but Calibre library will no longer add books.
Menu option Add books brings up the calibre-gui and whichever option is selected it hangs with a select books heading on a white screen.
The only option is to close the window which then says "Application 'calibre-gui' is not responding."
Have you any suggestions?
Many Thanks

Thanks. I used a differnt user which worked OK. Then went back to my original user and the add file menu worked. Previously I could "drag and drop" but not use menu. Now OK, thanks!
