Buffer I/O errors, when trying to install

Buffer I/O errors, when trying to install

I have big problems with installing Mageia on my laptop. Few pages error messages, e.g.

buffer I/O error on device sr0 logical block 5862
buffer I/O error on device sr0 logical block 5863
buffer I/O error on device loop0 logical block 0

Device sr0 is your optical drive so it's either a bad disc or bad drive.

I got same kind error messages few months ago, when tried to install kubuntu. But with mandriva install no problems. Weird...

Maybe I should try installing from USB stick. Is it easy to do?

Problem solved! I did burn mageia .iso file again to cd, but with lower speed. And now installation completed.. :) Though I have problems with sounds and mouse, but I post here some questions, if I dont get work those things...
