Please check our software management MAQeia for more information on software and package management.

For your locale issue, please show the output of
Code: Select all
rpm -qa | grep locale

Also, you may be affected by the first point at https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_4_Err ... e_CD.2FDVD
Did you install Mageia or is it still running in live mode? But it's probably this older bug: https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3723
Hope there will soon be an update for that.

You may need to go through the dialog again and set your current regional settings, please see https://doc.mageia.org/mcc/4/en/content ... drake.html

Also could you please explain a bit about your current locale settings and how you configured them?
I see partly algerian, but english time format, number format ... ist that expected?

Did you try that? Also it's not a perl error, it's an issue about your locale settings. See suggestion above.
For your question about command line, that's also linked at the top of the MAQeia: https://wiki.mageia.org/en/URPMI

Please next time do not use fullquotes, but only use the Reply function. Greatly improves clarity and reading flow ;)
Also, I've taken the freedom to change the thread title to something more meaninful and also marked it [SOLVED].
