So another Q... In LXDE there was a place to let PCMan generate thumbnails for everything. Where is that place for XFCE?

Anyways, I don't understand your question. Thunar has only one view and one size for thumbnails. If you want bigger thumbnails use pcmanfm or e.g. dolphin or nautilus,
My bad again. I meant to say for jpg's larger than 8 MB.

Well, seems thunar has no such setting, you can only limit generation of preview thumbnails on local files, for all files or complete disable it. pcmanfm, dolphin and nautilus all have such a setting. pcmanfm is set to 2MB, and in dolphin this setting only seems to only exist for files on remote filesystems. nautilus is set to 10MB files.
