[SOLVED] Django with Mageia?

Postby alzea » Jan 22nd, '14, 10:46

Hi,

Can I install and use django properly in megeia? Because i use django for web development. But I am newbie in Mageia / Mandriva based, and all this time I'm using Ubuntu. But I've been bored with Ubuntu. I found Mageia would be perfect for my next desktop.

Excuse my English. :)

Thanks in advance.

django is available in the online repo's. The main package is called python-django. Once you have set up the online repo's, search for django to see the main package and the many sub-packages. You may find these documents helpful in getting to know the software management tools in Mageia:

Please next time do not use fullquotes, but only use the Reply function. Greatly improves clarity and reading flow ;)
