Snes9x-gtk: segmentation fault

Postby lectus » Dec 10th, '13, 21:49

Hi!
I'm getting a segmentation fault when I load a ROM in snes9x-gtk.

I'm using Mageia 3 KDE x86_64.

Any ideas?

Which ROM is that exactly, and does that happen only with one ROM or with all?
Also, what graphics output did you configure, and is hardware acceleration available?
Please show the output of
Code: Select all
glxinfo

You may want to look at the snes9x forums/bugtracker:

All ROMs don't work. But they work if I select the zip file and then "Open with" and select snes9x-gtk. Then it works fine.
But when opening from the program it doesn't load the ROM and gives a segmentation fault.

Here's the output of glxinfo:

Please look for that in their forum or on the bugtracker as mentioned already.
Really similar issue which I've found: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/28368

Please next time use code tags, not quote tages, explained in ftp://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/linux/mandriva/m ... e_tags.ogv
