[SOLVED] num lock key

[SOLVED] num lock key

I have installed Mageia KDE 64bit from the live dvd as a dual boot with Win XP and grub.
When i boot the XP the num lock is lit,the Mageia does not !
How do i fix this on Mageia?

Hello,
Go into the KDE settings, at the bottom in the frame "Hardware" clickx2 on "Input devices", "Keyboard" on the top left, and "Hardware" tab.

Sorry there are no tools like this in that menu,or anywhere else.i have searched hard.
what to do now?

Don't you have an icon like that at the bottom left of your desktop:

No .The only icon on my destop is at the top right of the screen.
It says Desktop and the menu it brings up is add widgets etc.
what now?

Either you aren't serious or you have a great installation problem!

It must have been a bad installation because it crashed after a few weeks!
I have now reinstalled it and found where to turn on the numlock key,where you said it was.

You can do so by editing the title/subject of the first message in the topic.
Place [SOLVED] in front of subject/title
