[SOLVED] Clock does not adjust to Wintertime and is locked

Postby Fred01 » Nov 1st, '13, 21:59

Clock does not adjust to Wintertime and is locked:

My clock indication is still on Summer time and does not allow me to change.

The clock is locked and when clicking on the lock it says'Dialog is locked / click to make changes'
or in other words, click to unlock, what not happens...
Also it shows the Network Time as being off.

How to inlock the clock - who now seems unwilling to react (and does not want to go of 'unlock')

Thanks

Which desktop environment do you use? Please attach a screenshot of the clock dialog.

Hi Doctor

Desktop environment is KDS

clock screenshot attached - please note that when I click the unlock sign a little black window comes up that says ;
"Dialog is locked / Click to make changes'.
However when clicking nothing happens / eg. also not asking for password...// in other words - unable to unlock it.

Great that it worked out for you Image
I'll just repeat the solution that worked here, for claritys sake:
su
password
Code: Select all
date +%T -s "23:14:00"

Replace the time with your correct time.

After that the time will be correct in your (locked) GUI
