[SOLVED] MAILTO in cron does not send user mail

Postby leon244 » Nov 18th, '13, 03:01

I am trying to have the cron send me an email but it does not appear to be working.
I have MAILTO=<my username> in the crontab file, but nothing is sent. I added and echo command to see if the output would be sent and nothing.

I don't know how to begin troubleshooting this and would appreciate help. I am using Mageia3 and presume there is a default MTA. I get email and send email from my ISP via Thunderbird.

I would appreciate any help or suggestion. Thank you.
Leon

Solved:
appears to be OK after I rebooted the system; Had been up for 15days, not sure why this happened.
