Why dvd is must to install software in mageia

I am a new user.I want to know whenever I want to install a software in mageia there is message said please insert core release medium.when I insert dvd of mageia the installation begins and software is installed.i want to know it is must to enter dvd of mageia for everytime I want to install the software?
is there any solutions?
I use Linux mint ubunto and lubunto but there is no system like this in mageia

If you define an online software repository, and remove the DVD media as a repository, then you will no longer be prompted to insert the DVD.
