After upgrading mageia 2 to mageia 3(64 bit) ,when i want to install new updates mageia giving error No package named mageia-prepare-upgrade???
i tried many solutions no one was worked properly?

mageia-prepare-upgrade is for mageia 2 not mageia 3 It prepares the file system layout to be compatible with Mageia 3.
If you did the online using the applet in the system tray then it will have been downloaded and run automatically and you will have been prompted to reboot abd select 'Prepare Upgrade' in the boot menu. You can tell if it has been run because the /lib folder will a symlink to /usr/lib
