[SOLVED] Create live usb-stick from Windows ?

There is no elegant GUI method to create usb installations of Mageia, only primitive workarounds and pretend solutions. Issues like this are why Windows users have little interest in Linux, relegating it to a small niche in the computer world - primitive and not ready for prime time.

well, there are some gui for the dd command, even for windows, but you have to open your eyes struggling the www

I was able to create a Mageia Live USB in windows with Suse Studio's Image Writer. You'll have to change it to a .raw extension, but it works.

Hello I am new to the mageia community.

If it can be helpful to someone these programs did not make a working Mageia USB for me.

Fedora Live USB creator.
Lili USB creator.
UNetbootin.

Rufus only indentifies smaller USB-sticks so I wasn´t able to try it. Strange problem but maybe its only on my computer.

Rufus worked quite well with my 32GB stick - depends on what you understand as smaller ...
