libra office wont launch after I uninstalled kde games

I have mageia 1 64 bit running well on a toshiba satallite

After I uninstalled kdegames, libreoffice will not launch
I uninstalled and reinstalled libreoffice and still it will not launch
I think that a needed kde component was uninstalled when I took out some unwanted software
How can I get the missing kde component back without running the os upgrade?

Could you try launching Libreoffice in a terminal emulator, such as Konsole?
If you don't know console, go to Menu > Tools > Konsole.
It will open a black window where you can type command-line instructions. Try to type oowriter, and it will surely provide a lot on info; at the end of all that will be prompted, there should be something relative to the error LibreOffice encounters, such as "Can't find file: blabla.so".

I ran oowriter in konsole as a user and got nothing -- it just seemed to hang.
I ran oowriter in konsole as root and libreoffice launched just fine

I also had previously removed akonadi and some KDE pim files, but didn't think this would affect the
rest of the desktop.

The hanging of libraoffice was due to an open dialog window that I was unaware of, it was wanting input before allowing the program to continue. I discovered it while rebooting.
