Yum is a software management of RedHat, Fedora etc. As Jkerr82508 said, the Software Management (package-management) of Mageia is
rpmdrake, which can be accessed by going to
Menu button (Application Launcher Menu)-> Install and remove software or
Menu button -> Tools -> System Tools -> "Mageia Control Center",
and in new window, go to "
Software Management" tab, and click in

"
Install and remove software",
to open the "Software Management" of Mageia:

Obs: There is another Manager software installed by default In
Mageia 2 , which is the
APPER, (much simpler), which can be accessed by clicking on:
Menu button -> Tools -> System Tools -> APPER
