hy everyone...
are mageia support usb wireless modem out of the box ?
i mean when i plug in my modem mageia can recognize then just need to click 'connect' button to suft the internet?
if that not possible where i can find linux distro which support that?

If you install using the LiveCD you have a fighting chance of it working as it includes some drivers that aren't open source.
Of course many manufactures only provide support for Windows so in Linux these drivers have to reverse engineered and that takes a developer with the hardware and time.

If you install using the LiveCD you have a fighting chance of it working as it includes some drivers that aren't open source.

what i mean is distro that default included usb_modeswitch package or similar to it . just simply the process ex: search for usb modem then just click connect to start browsing...

Mageia has usb_modeswitch, how well it works is as I said whether your device is supported.

i just want to simply the process not to type sudo modprobe... editing .conf etc.. everytime i want to browsing..

If your device is working with other distributions then there's a good chance it will work using Mageia.
Test drive the Mageia LiveCD to see if your device is supported.
Only installing will tell if your settings survive a reboot.

I think they work in Mageia, some have some trouble though, but whatever works in a Linux distro should work on all distros:
