[SOLVED] clock crashes on startup in Gnome

Postby jacobheringman » Jun 3rd, '11, 12:55

Hi all,

Yesterday, I installed Mageia Gnome on my netbook using the inline GUI method (from Mandriva 2010.2 Gnome). Worked beautifully. Mageia is looking and feeling great. Congratulations and thanks to all concerned.

One small problem today though, which wasn't there yesterday: when I start up the machine, the clock crashes (or fails to load), and I get a message asking whether I wish to reload the clock. When I click "yes", the clock fails to reload. I've just rebooted again, and now the clock doesn't bother even to try to load.

Shall I file a bug report? Is that the thing to do in a situation like this? Or shall I observe for a few days to see if the problem continues?

Thanks!

I just want to add that today it's starting up fine, including the clock. Perhaps it was a fluke.
