Postby ciro314 » Sep 7th, '12, 10:12

Hi everyone,

i'm trying to install Mageia2-DVD from a bootable usb stick. I dumped the image with "rufus", started the install and then i got the message: "I can't access a magia installation disc in your CDROM". Did anybody get the same message? how could I fix this?

thank you in advance

if i remember correctly rufus didn't work for me.
try using the windoze bootloader and make sure your usb stick is in fat 32.

there is a thread here that explains it better.

windows bootloader? fat32? Actually when writing an image to the stick, all content and filesystems are overwritten,
so it is no interesting which filesysem the usb stick has before.
