I have been reading on slashdot.org this morning and downloaded the pdf file of the research done to find server issues for most of the designs in use worldwide.

Sometimes I am amazed at how little forethought was used for systems to plan to make them secure. Yes, the web is evolving rapidly but someone should have thought about hacking when these systems were designed or updated. After all we have been living with some of these insecure systems since networking started! :shock:
