Eugeni sets sails

So, definitely, it [the time with Mandriva] was an amazing and priceless experience!
However, times change, people change, and I realized that time has come for me to sail to new horizons and look for new challenges. Many things changed in Mandriva during those 2.5 years, and it is a completely different company from what it once was. Many people had left, and many new faces has arrived as well during this time.
This was a quote from Eugeni Dodonov's blog where he bids farewell to Mandriva by the end of this month.

As you could see, he has been discussing in Mageia's developer mailing list lately and I was happy to read further in his blog:
I’ll certainly be around in Mandriva and Mageia communities afterwards!

So, happy sailing Eugeni, you'll be welcome in any open source haven and surely here at Mageia any time!

I saw the email this morning. Mandriva lost a good man but I'm happy to know he'll be sticking around in the Mageia and Mandriva community.

Following a good tradition during my MCNL-time (MandrivaClub the Netherlands), i like to make you aware of bloggings by Eugeni Dodonov.

During his time with Mandriva he wrote many interesting articles, and they were besides very informative, also very open and readable.
I always appreciated his input, and therefore i love to keep traditions up by attending you of any new articles by him.

Yesterday his first article appeared after he joined the Intel Linux Graphics group. It gives a nice insight into the near future developments in this graphical area.
Have fun:

Eugeni Dodonov added another interesting article to his blog.
Where he pointed out directions into graphical development last week,
today he expands his views in this follow-up.
Very well readable, and also very informative.

Big thanks Eugeni!!!

Phoronix did some testing on kernel 3.1 in regard to the Intel Linux Graphics cards.
Two tests, one in stock kernel 3.1, and the other one with RC6 (the power-savings feature) enabled.
All this introduced by Eugeni as usual.
