Mageia 4 Reviews

I have Linux News subscribed on my Google News and have not seen a Mageia 4 review yet. I see the same old stuff mostly, or sometimes the same new distro being written about by several people. I know Mageia has its fans but it would be nice if one of them was a reviewer that made the top Linux News.
I'm probably not a good reviewer because I am heavily slanted toward Mageia but to be fair it deserves it (See). I did find an article that you should read. I remember back in the day, when everything was new and you had to learn something no matter what computer or OS you chose, what great fun we had learning. Maybe we're just Geeks!
In the comments a guy says he put Linux on his dads computer and his grandfather's computer. Dad can't figure it out because it is too different from Windows while grandpa thinks Windows does it the hard way. One example he gives is grandpa don't understand why Windows doesn't have a repository system like Linux.
He likes being able to say, I want to do this or that and just install the software which works in most cases if you're not a power user. People like us might want more powerful software than is offered in the repository but grandpa finds everything he needs, while dad thinks it is too hard and can't figure it out.
I think dad just don't want to learn new things while it is all new to granpa and he enjoys learning to use the computer. Lately Windows has been moving things around and upsetting people, but they adjust and buy the next one. This is also one of my biggest complaints about Linux. It's not as bad as it used to be but they used to move or rename or completely replace tools etc and even I had to figure it out. People just don't like change I guess...they want progress with no learning curve so to speak.
I've always said if Linux had an earlier start or whatever it took to get people using it in the beginning they'd be like grandpa! It takes time to break Windows habits and now when I use Windows it is strange. It is not second nature to me any more. This habit breaking is why Windows users try Linux and go back to Windows...Like new shoes, they hurt your feet, fine, wear the old ones today.
Also in the comments a fellow asks what does "Valerie" do when she gets a virus or malware, adware etc? Is that easy for her too? Doubtful. Anyway, this was in the comments and I think the author totally got it wrong! Oh, he also says ChromeOS is what Valerie needs...but that is Linux, right? But not "Linux Desktop", right?
