It was just as great as last year to meet other Mageians and some of their loved ones. As of old, we not only enjoyed being at FOSDEM, but very much enjoyed each other's company at the Mageia dinner and our own beer-event, too
Our stand was just as crowded as last year, both with our own people and with visitors.
Remmy had ordered 50 Mageia credit-card shaped usb-keys. Almost all of them were sold (with or without a Mageia iso on it, as the buyer wished), even though they were € 10 for 4 GB.
I didn't ask how it was for the others at the stand, but I met more developers who were curious about Mageia, than I remember having met at an event before.
Sunday, several OpenMandriva people visited our stand, too. Per showed some things he was working at (I really liked them) and I was glad to finally meet ashledombos, whom I had never met before. It was a pity we could not arrange for mdawkins to meet with us right after FOSDEM, as he had wished.
This year, there were at least 9 of us (obgr_seneca + 2, colin, pasmatt + 1, remmy, sebsebseb and me) in one hotel. We might try next year to get group-discount if we book it with even more
