Like for doktor5000, it is also unclear to me, what you mean by your last reply.
Please explain!

1. tom_ gives a link

2. doktor thinks it is the wrong link and gives his version of the link

3. tom_ thinks that the doktor can not open the first link and asks why not

4. Doktor doesn't understand why tom_ assumes that the doktor failed to open the first link.

Actually both links show a page "How to report a bug". Both pages show identical revision dates and identical access statistics. Going from that both pages' contents should be the same.

But there is a difference in the layout: one page shows last edit date & revision number at the top of the page, the other shows it at the bottom. So they actually are different pages. I can only assume that one is in the old wiki and the other one is in the new wiki. Or both are in the new wiki and the first editor placed it in /mw-en and then it was copied to /en instead of moved.

To show what I mean:

Left side of the pic "2links.png" shows the page /mw-en, right side the same part of the page in /en

2links.png (92.75 KiB) Viewed 3961 times

The pic "2links-bottom.png" shows the pages bottom in the same order:
2links-bottom.png
2links-bottom.png (49.89 KiB) Viewed 3961 times

I would like to take this oportunity to point out that spoilers are a real good idea ;)
And also that mods like integrated chat really tend to fubar future forum upgrades.

I'd rather suggest to correct the settings for thumbnails in the ACP (no code change, just a setting). With correct settings my attached pics would look like the example pic in the German Mageia forum: https://forums.mageia.org/de/viewtopic. ... 403#p10403

Yes that looks better. But there is nohing speaking aginst having both - making it mandatory for oversized pics or pics with a certain content (adds etc) could then be a lovly and long discussion.
I cannot see how anyone could possibly be offended by a spoiler Pictures are another matter.....

I am positively sure that one day you will get your preciousssss spoilers :)
You know that I do not agree to your opinion but if there are spoilers or not is not very high on my "like/dislike" list anyway. The difference is: the settings for the thumbnails is not a code change, it is just a setting in the ACP - that's why we have it in the German forum :)

Now we've added some posts, it is not so quiet here now. :)

So now the OP has also been proven wrong, as it's not really quiet in here. Cheers :D

Ah stop the noize! @wobo I was not reffering to your nicely sized pics as a mod. I was reffering to the integrated chat : That has great fubaring potential - I know Image
And remember: one Spoiler to rule them all.... :D

Hm, which potential? More temptation to discuss things in a platform which is not sustainable, in other words, without any benefit for users who are not in the chat at the right time, while a forum conversation can be read by all users at any time ? More temptation to discuss without them necessary time to contemplate what the other has written, without the time to preview and re-think what you have written before before publishing?
I am not a friend of chat (IRC) anyway because too many times I read in forum discussions things like "as we discussed yesterday" without being able to read what was "discussed yesterday".

A forum includes all users now and in future, a chat includes only those who are there at one moment in time. A chat is the direct opposite of a forum, don't mix them.

From the Urban dictonary
F.U.B.A.R. is an acronym for: 1. F*cked up beyond all reason. 2. F*cked up beyond all recognition. 3. F*cked up beyond all repair.

We are in 100 % agreement here.
...
So who of us should change his mind?
