You have to ignore that, there are always some collateral damages....

Well, probably you/they should have drank more of the delicious openSUSE beer, it kept me healthy :D

The big group photo from Thursday can be found at
http://www.flickr.com/photos/linuxtag/7286747014/in/photostream

If you look at the picture in large resolution you will see us standing in the left section of the crowd (you can't miss marja there, standing in the first row, wearing a white t-shirt!).

I would have loved to join you there, but I had to work :(
Maybe I'll have better luck next year?

You know what I like about that picture? The cross-section of people you see there.
Very few Linux beards and most of the people are young.
Yes, there are people there over the age of 35 and that's great to see too, but seeing as how most of the people are youngish is a good sign. It means that Linux has been fully adopted by the young generation, and will continue to make it grow.
Linux is no longer something that weirdos tinker with in their basement or early-adopter computer geeks from the 70's use. It's hip, it's young and it's happening.
Yes we've heard all this before, but actually seeing it really brings it home.
An image is worth 1024 words.
