Yes, they are nice, creto is very creative.

For me personally, I've been using my own pictures as wallpapers for several years because they have a meaning to me (like the latest photograph of my son or a nice area where I've been, etc.). Or a photograph of me because I'm just so handsome!

Just send a mail, and don't be afraid, the artwork guys are very friendly, not like the packagers
Also you can use the Mageia-Artwork IRC Channel to check if your mail has hit the list or to chat with artwork guys.

I'm Max__ on IRC. I saw your chat, welcome to the team!
We're pretty much in sleep-mode now. All critical bugs and stuff for Mageia 2 have been fixed and we're just waiting for the ISOs to finish building.
In a couple of weeks we'll start work on Mga3!
We look forward to working with you.
Also, it would be nice to send an introductory email. Just sort of "Hi, I'm Creto. I don't eat people." or whatever you want to say.
