NAS Box?

I ordered a $100 hard drive online and it arrived today. :D
For some reason unknown to man, beast or me a Seagate Blackarmor NAS 400 arrived with it.
Checking the Internet this thing sells for about $400.
The questions is this any good in a home environment or do I sell it, give it away or set it on the curb for the two fellows in the big smelly truck that come by once a week to pickup?

After using the thing as a door stop for a month or so I talked to a computer tech about selling it and was told that they're a dime a dozen at government auctions.
I then decided to open the thing up and found 2X2TB drives inside. :D
I'm now using it for backups but as it's running some version of Windows I have to safe the backups as archives.
