After a long battle with liver disease, Carolyn passed away on June 15.

Just wanted to let you know. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

Same as isadora, don't really know what to say ...
It's always hard to lose a loved one, lost my grandmother last year.

I also wish you lots of strength Stephen.

It is a pisser but speaking as someone who has 20% kidney function it is easier to lose your life than to lose a lover, she knew that -if that is any consolation. The fact that you would give your life for your wife or child only makes the pain last longer. Give it two years and if it still hurts then, get help.

It is somewhat late (I am not visiting much these days).
I can only begin to imagine the disaster since i still am married after 30 years and would not know how to cope with anything like this..at all.

Thoughts and prayers are sent.

I can feel your pain and understand the loss as I lost my Mom in October to complications from lung cancer and the treatments.

I am late to this topic as I have not been on line in a while. I will say a belated prayer for you from Owasso.

Cheers

As dubi, I'm too late, I'm sorry.

I wish you all the best Germ and I hope it's all better now!
Few weeks later after your loss, my father passed away. Return of the cancer he had cured before. The whole year was miserable for me, but it's getting better.

Anyway, life has to go on. Again, all the best Germ and I'm glad to see you still being part of Mageia!

My condolences, too, Germ.

Sorry for the very late reply, I only saw this thread today.

I feel clumsy, afraid to say the wrong thing. I do very much hope the pain will fade and that, not too far from now, you'll find yourself smiling about some fond memories of Carolyn.

And similarly for all in this thread who have lost someone.

My sympathies too. Loss takes forever to heal I know but it does diminish if you can cope. You must make an effort. If you believe in god he does help, if you don't, you might ask him anyway.
