Baron Samedi & the spoiler BBCode

I have said it before: I am not sure I can be trusted to edit my own posts.Image All this decadent freedom where will it end? Image
Anyway I have signed in again to exploit this weakness.
But it will end in a total disaster I tell you .... trusting people like that.. pah Image
:mrgreen:
Right conclusion!

Yeah the RedHats are mean, but I have the helmet on so nothing can happen to me. Image It takes more than fancy titles and black evil minds...
We really need the spoiler here so I can present Pics that you have to open, we do not want to scare the living daylight out of the members with Baron Wobo Samedi pics. That is only for the tough ones that dare to click "show".
In ACP ->Posting->BBCode
BBCode Usage
Code: Select all
[spoiler]{TEXT}[/spoiler]

HTML replacement
Code: Select all
<div style="margin:20px; margin-top:5px"><div class="quotetitle"><input class="button2 btnlite" type="button" value="Show" style="text-align:center;width:100px;margin:0px;padding:0px;" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';      this.innerText  = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }" /></div><div class="quotecontent"><div style="display: none;">{TEXT}</div></div></div>

It has the advantage that you can put long elaborations in a spoiler and emphasize the essence of the message.
So you will not have to look at this:
Image
But you can...
Edit:
If we get it; I will be happy to edit this post so it looks better (see? Edit - I am still on topic :) )
I belive I have made my point by now..... :D

Or viewforum.php?f=18
As far as the post about the BBCode additions is concerned maybe better in: viewtopic.php?f=18&t=35 ;)

I'm so terribly sorry, oh my favorite Mageia moderator!
My "Baron Samedi" flick was a result of a recent conversation between viking60 and me in the Mandriva forum, it was so tempting I could not resist.

Would you pls crop the thread, starting with my post "Watch out, Baron Samedi is watching you!" and put it under the title: 'Baron Samedi & the spoiler BBCode' (or whatever) into the Wizard's Lair ?
I would if I could but I can't cause I shan't.

You see; it is all Wobos fault. He PM'ed me and said "I don't care what you call me as long as I get to be a Baron" Image

+1 thanks Isadora!
Now I can go bananas and even mention RedHat and Fedora right?
And maybe a little quiz related to my helmet:
What was the name of the first Linux distro (debatable but don't worry- I'll decide) ?

Windows 1?

No, really: MCC-Interim in 1992 (non existant any more).

No Image to both.
(Boy I wish I had a spoiler so I could hide the answer).
The name is norse. And it was the world tree of the Vikings...
And they created the first Linux Live CD.....
Making it the first distro because it really was the first thing worth distributing:
