[SOLVED] how to disable systemd-journald completly

so I know the powers that be descided on systemd-journald, over rsyslog, i can see that from the other threads and release notes.

what i want is to disable systemd-journald, as i use rsyslog.

not interested in systemd-journald at all dont care about its advantages, its not used

in the significant money making buisnesses that use linux, syslog and rsyslog are and thats all i care about.

can anyone tell me how to disable it completly.

well seems you cant, using mask kills your system completly

the only way is to redirect all systemd messages to rsyslog

and stop it logging to the disk completly

by doing the following.

/etc/systemd/journal.conf

Storage=none
ForwardToSyslog=yes
