[SOLVED] PDF Writer

Hi All,
I would like a program that can perform writing (text) to an existing PDF. eg to over write blank areas (like a text box).
I have a form I need to fill in 4 times a month on what I have learned for my RCDD (BICSI) qualification. Most of the information on the form does not change.
Presently I do this at work on NitroPDF free version in a MS enviroment.
I would like to do the same at home where I use Mageia.
Any suggestions on which program may suit my needs would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Roy

I believe that Okular (a KDE application) will allow you to do that, although I've never used that feature myself.

That depends if the PDF has form fields, or not. If it has, you can basically use any PDF viewer, like okular or evince.
If it does not have them, you can e.g. use gimp, or maybe xournal, or PDF editors such as scribus. Even libreoffice can do that.

Thank you for the suggestions
Xournal fitted the requirements just perfectly.
Thanks Roy

I'll not move this as it may help someone but the original question should have been asked in Basic Support.

I've asked for the title of this section to be changed to make it clear that it's not the place to ask for support but that has fallen on deaf ears.

As I said I believe it's in the right place now but wasn't when first posted.

Not your fault as the layout makes this look like the place to ask questions.
