[SOLVED] slow menu paint INFO
Posted: Jan 9th, '13, 13:50I was noticing that the menus in mageia 2 were sluggish to paint,
this was happening on fast as well as less power hundry hardware.
found the cause, in kde desktop effects advanced untick opengl shader 2.
if your hardware does not fully support this or the drivers dont , then it may paint slow.
my HW expiriencing this was hd4000 (opensource) and nv 560 (proprietry drivers)
