The new package FF Multi Converter was added to Mageia 2 (was not in Mageia 1), which is the software to convert video formats, audio, images and documents. In the site Pkgs search, only Mageia has ffmulticonverter package in your offical repository.

To install ffmulticonverter package with the graphics mode, accessing the Software Manager - MCC (see here and here) or with the text mode: see here.
I recently converted video format and liked the result and post here this good graphical tool.
It is a graphical tool (it's a front-end) for various software:
