KMail-Users: Do not change your GMail password!
Posted: Feb 22nd, '24, 21:24I recently changed my GMail password and after trying to change it also in Kmail and restarting the receiving IMAP I got the message "Could not read the password. User rejected wallet access."
The GMail Account went offline. It didn't even help purging everything from GMail to configure a new account.
Finally I found a solution here:

That worked for me! After that I got the workflow to authenticate my GMail account.

> Open KWalletManager > Search for LibKGAPI > Maps > *usercontent.com. Remove all entries from there.
That worked for me! After that I got the workflow to authenticate my GMail account.
