A tip for distrohoppers...

Here is a short tip for distrohoppers:
https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html
Ventoy is a tool for loading a number of .iso files from a USB pen drive. That's right, you can load more than one .iso file per pen drive. Your mileage may vary with your hardware and the distros that you add. Having said that, Mageia 7.1, Kubuntu 20.04, Fedora 32 (KDE) Jam and KDE Neon work for me. Solus does not.

FWIW, you can also check http://www.rmprepusb.com/ and Easy2Boot

For even more, check https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Installation ... erified.29

With Mageia I use "IsoDumper" which works really well.

Ventoy allows multiple .iso images to be installed on the drive at once.
you just copy them across, as a normal file. no burning required.
at boot, the Ventoy script scans the .iso directory for all .isos images and creates a boot menu, so you can multi-boot.
no need to re-write the drive between boots.
if you want, you can even copy any of the .iso images from your Ventoy drive into a system and use them as a Virtual-Box source for VB installation

Isodumper only allows 1 .iso to be written at a time.
the resulting USB does not have the same file structure as the original .iso image.

if you copied the entire usb contents from a Isodumper USB to a directory in a system and tried to use it to install into a Virtualbox system, it would fail.
