MegaSync Client is in BlogDrake's repositories ) 4.7.2.0 for MGA 8, and 4.9.6.0 for MGA 9

I Thanks to MLO community for the collaboration with the first versions of this package.

To install just add the repo with this command

For Mageia 8/9 (i586 and x86_64):

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --wget --distrib http://ftp.blogdrake.net/mageia/mageia'$RELEASE'/'$ARCH'
 

If have some issue with previous command use

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --wget --distrib http://ftp.blogdrake.net/mageia/mageia'$RELEASE'/i586
 

or

Code: Select all

urpmi.addmedia --wget --distrib http://ftp.blogdrake.net/mageia/mageia'$RELEASE'/x86_64
 

and install

Code: Select all

urpmi megasync

Warning: For Mageia 9 the i586 version crash at start so i don't include megasync anymore for 32 bit.

You can install the file managers complements:

dolphin-megasync
nautilus-megasync
nemo-megasync
thunar-megasync

You can select 2 themes for the status icons in the system's tray
megasync-statusicons-normal The common already known full colour icons and
megasync-statusicons-mono Monochromatic icons



You can switch at any time just install the one you like and the package manager will ask to uninstall the other.


Mageia 7 and previous is now unsupported and all the rpm will be removed.

And remember than from Mageia 6 our repository can be added to dnf repositories

Note that version 4 of the megasync client is now available at github: https://github.com/meganz/MEGAsync
Perhaps it could be built for Mageia at some time.

Yes, but in the French MLO site they keep updating, last one is of September

I will see but i don't make any promise.
Our last version is megasync-3.6.6.0 for maga6 so is good time to update at less the mga6 version

Its in the blogdrake repository, see the first message of this thread for instructions
This time the build for x86_64 was made for one of our volunteers so i forget to notify the MLO community
