[SOLVED] Does anybody use Bombono or an alternative?

Postby rolf » Jun 26th, '15, 15:15

Hi. I've managed some success using Bombono for creating video DVDs. I didn't find it in Mageia repos. There is a Mandriva 2011 rpm and source tarball at http://www.bombono.org/cgi-bin/wiki/Download. Running the Mageia 4.1 Live KDE DVD, it appeared there was a chance to find the build dependencies in Mageia.
I'm considering installing Mageia, now at version 5, and running Bombono or some other simple dvd authoring gui that I'm capable of understanding is something I'd like to know about. Thanks.

The package is called bombono-dvd and available via the repos.

There are also others like 2mandvd, dvdauthor, dvdstyler

If you search it via urpmq/urpmf or urpmi, it will still find it if you only search for bombono (as that's part of it's name) or use fuzzy search as in
Code: Select all
urpmi -y bombono
