Mageia 1: exit graphics test ?

Hi, I'm installing Mageia 1 for another attempt, now for KDE. Two earlier attempts on Gnome fail because after boot, graphics shows only black and white. Now I install KDE, and during installation I click Test. The test goes well, but how do I exit the test so I can finish the installation?

Thanks.

I remember a bug like that in Mandriva. What happens if you skip the test? You should be able to make any adjustments after first boot.

I rebooted so get out of the graphics test and reinstalled with KDE. This time I skipped the test. To my disappointment, the screen after boot looks like crap. See attachment.

What graphics chipset do you have? AIT, NVIDIA oder else? And which model?

I have a nVidia GeForce FX 5100. Looking in safe mode, I find that the nouveau driver is loaded, which has given lots of issues before on Fedora 14 (other machine, x86). Solved those by changing to ATI. However, this machine (x64) is dual boot with Fedora 14, which gives no problems at all on this FX 5100.
