Hi,
I have just updated to Mageia3 and have discovered that HAL is missing. I wish I had noticed this during the Mageia3 development. I am no longer able to view Amazon Flash Videos.
Are there any plans to restore HAL?
We use this system to watch family movies.

Is there any manual workaround that others have used to install HAL?

hal is not missing, it is long gone.

Is it possible to get udev or another program to take over the piece of HAL that will allow drm?
