DistroWatch.com pointed me to this glowing review of Mageia 3. Hope you like it as much as I did.

Fine review! Almost too good...people may not believe it. I posted about unfair reviews...this guy seemed to make notes on resources etc.
I've read a couple of others and seen a video review where they mention problems but go right on to say how easy they were to fix. Just about any fair review mentions the MCC and System Settings which once a Windows user figures out these are like Control Panel they're pretty much in the home stretch as far as general use goes.
I like a lot of things about Windows, just not the engine, proprietary, etc, etc, etc. I like the taskbar etc. and this is why I like KDE. Just never got comfortable with Gnome and the others were too lean. I love Mageia. I used Mandrake, then Mandriva and I am as happy as a bug in a rug! If I wrote a review they wouldn't believe it for sure.

Well, other reviews will surface and I'm sure the level of fairness will balance itself out.
