[SOLVED] Window resizing etc

in my KDE4 MGA2 set-up the right-hand of my application windows have a half width navigation column making it difficult to grab the slider. What's more I cannot expand a window by dragging it to the right nor diagonally to the right-downward. I can do it by moving the whole window to the right and dragging the left side leftwards. Its not life-threatening but I would like to fix an otherwise perfect set-up.

I am not using desktop effects if that might be an issue.

Something is odd! I resolved this issue, posted a reply and even handled someone else's follow-up.
I am puzzled that those posts should have disappeared.
Anyway, it was not a bug. I had not realised that 'Configure Decorations' would solve the problem.
The default setting for 'Olympic' is incorrect or poorly set-up but the framework can be adjusted
in Configure Decorations.
