Hello!!

Im interested to try Mageia out is it possible to upgrade from my mandriva cooker installation?

No, not from Mandriva Cooker, because Cooker uses too many different things (like rpm5).
Updates to Mageia will be possible in a very easy way for Mandriva 2010.1/2.

Now i have Mageia installed and i must say that i like it very much, its very nice and quite snappy.
I think i keep it, the only thing i dont like is the font rendering that is not so nice...

I migrated from Mandriva 2010.2 (updated all the way from 2005, over the years), to Mageia 1, and everything's working nicely :)
