gjots2

Postby olemadsen » Jan 9th, '12, 21:39

What are the chances the someone will package gjots2 for Mageia? I am transitioning from Mandriva PP and this is the only application I am missing. I know that kjots is there, but it is not as good as gjots2 which Mandriva provides. Several other Gnome applications are there, f.ex. glabels and evince, so why not gjots2?

Other than that, my thanks and congrats to the developers. Mageia runs well and appears to be rock solid. Nice job!

Unless you submit a bug (package request) then probably trending towards zero ;P

Just select "New RPM package request" and fill out the rest of the form.
Also, welcome to Mageia!

I did submit a package request, but fearing that the probability of getting action might still be "trending towards zero", I started googling. Seek and you shall find..... It turns out that there is a very nice piece of software in the KDE world that is called "Basket". It does the same as Gjots2 and then some. Very nice indeed. And yes, it is in the Mageia repository, so installation is a breeze. Many thanks to the developers who made it happen.
