I just finished installing Mageia 1 and everything went well. Just one little glitch. I see that my preferred font is missing: fonts-ttf-libertine. As it happens, that is what I have standardized on for the Newsletter i am producing. I have it on another machine running Mandriva 2010. Can it be copied over? If so how? Or can I download it from somewhere and install it without breaking anything?
Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Ole

You can import fonts using Mageia Control Center(Configure your computer) >>System>>Manage, add and remove fonts...
You can also add them manually in /usr/share/fonts (system wide)
or for your user only in a hidden folder named .fonts in your home directory.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I found the missing libertine fonts on the Mandriva machine in /usr/share/fonts/ttf/ and then copied the folder over to the corresponding place on the Mageia machine via a USB stick. It worked like a charm.
